If I'd only ever seen Youtube footage you'd excuse me for saying that Finland is a country where there is very little rally talent

In our defence I have to say that in most of those clips the drivers were driving "blind" without any pacenotes, studying the roads beforehand was (and is) forbidden in those smaller events. There the co-drivers get roadmaps and they have to figure out were the road leads from there.
