Was it just me or did anyone else notice at Kansas, that the stands, which were pretty full for most of the rest of the race, were half empty after she retired?

IMO, that doesn't bode well for the stability of IndyCar if half the fans are there just to see one driver, rather than to watch the race.

Well, that's the natural progression when the Series pushes just one driver as "The Face" of the Series. The Series, and the racing, must stand on its own in order to suceed long-term. But that's not what's happening, unfortuantely.
