The Chevrolets are looking very good today, good news for Jason Plato. The BMWs are going well.
Problems for Ben Collins and David Pinkney in both sessions.
James Thompson improving the GPR Motorsport Toyota Avensis. Not doing too badly for a car that is only turning a wheel for the first time today. It took the Arena Motorsport an entire season to make their Fords capable of challenging for victory, so fairly encouraging.

2nd practice Thommo within a second in the NGTC car (49.6) so it seems its about there already
    "I" before "E" except after "C". Weird.

I believe it is just the practice sessions.

Though it has to be noted that getting within a second of the lead pace around Brands Hatch Indy circuit is easier than on any other track in the country since the lap time is so short. Still getting themselves onto the back of the midfield after just a few laps is pretty good.

    21 Shaun Hollamby 50.129
    22 Ben Collins -
    23 James Kaye -
    24 Dave Pinkney -

Looking pretty onmious for tomorrow. Jason Plato with maximum ballast takes pole with a pretty convincing margain over the chasing pack. If no one can get ahead of Plato early on then he'll be on for the championship.
Good laps by the two Triple Eight Vauxhalls, Sam Tordoff impressing on his debut.
Motorbase unable to fix Ben Collins car yet, a real shame he hasn't had a shot this weekend. Shame to hear that Pinkney's season looks to be over.

well well well....Jason Plato seems to be on fire so far this weekend. shame that he is leading the championship because I want it to be as close as possible....so if the Hondas can get in front in races one and two but jason win it and the championship in race three after a thriller, I'll be happy.
Congratulations Sebastian Vettel. Champion of the season of seasons.

Plato must have the opposition more than a bit worried after getting pole with all that ballast! But with the two Hondas right on his tale its going to be an very tense start and I just hope that the driving standards dont get too stupid.

And credit to Tordoff! Only a few tenths off in 8th place is a great first effort!

The odds would be very short on that bet
