I don't really buy either publication. Autosport is just an F1 fest although the national bit in the back is usually interesting.

Motoring News has tried to move back towards rallying a bit more which is probably why they haven't put that much effort in. The one thing that I've noticed recently is that MN seems to be getting thinner while the price keeps getting bigger.
You're so beige, you probably think this signature is about someone else.

Well Autosport's preview of the BTCC was quite good with equal mention of all the teams. Same for the Indycar preview.
I solumly swear I'm up to no good

Hopefully the autosport preview wil be a lot better
It's an odd one to say the least- I thought there were a couple of pages missing from mine at first....All the Mike/Andrew Jordan stuff is basically advertising for John Guest, and as you said, there's no 2008 preview material in there...

The Jack Sears interview is pretty good, the 'timeline' is a bit sketchy, though no more so than you'd expect trying to cram 50 years into 2 pages, the Mike Jordan track test of Frank Gardner's RS1600 is interesting (that's one of my favourite BTCC cars of all time...).

I'm surprised there's not been much comment about the 'Top 50 drivers' bit though- some of those are contentious to say the least...Mansell's BTCC career of precisely 3 meetings and a TOCA Shoot-Out putting him in the list at no 25? above several champions and some of the all-time touring car greats? Hmm....
