from 3rd down to 14th on a cold day in march only 3 tenths in it, hmmmm, could mean carnage at paddock hill in race one.

Looks as if the Vectra is a bit quicker round Brands relative to the Seat this year — unless the Seats are sandbagging, of course.

Gio was so much faster than everyone else!

On the topic of the test day, BTCC.net says this:

Significantly, SEAT – using diesel engines for the first time – stayed on track so drivers Darren Turner and Jason Plato (eighth and ninth fastest overall) could practice their starts in their Leon TDis.
I don't quite understand what is being said here. Are they saying the SEATs stayed late, or if this is an error and they actually meant stayed "off track" to practice their starts?

I am still doubtful that we've seen everyone's true pace, especially the SEATs.

Andrew Jordan and Matt Allison showing strong pace once again, they could be podium contenders at times in the season. Also, even though he was 14th, Collard was nearer to the pace than I was expecting, so he may do quite well this season as well.

Same happened last year, SEAT were no where is pre-season testing, come first race they was up at the top of the time sheets. Dont want Mr Gow imposing more ballast on them cos they are so much quicker than everyone else in testing do they?
