That would have put Turkington 16th on the grid from last years time

    SO your point is?

Test times and qualy times usualy differ greatly.

While I agree that there's only so much you can read into test times, that comparison of times shows a healthy formula. There's been a slight improvement of a few tenths here and there, but no enormous strides forward and no-one running away from the rest. It's obviously going to be a competitive year.

I didnt have a point, mearly comparing and showing how much faster the cars are from last year. I posted them as some of the teams where using the test as a "qualy session" as reported by btcc.net

What is your point with your first sentance? You cant really compare a car that wasnt present at the test can you?

Its like having a healthy discussion with some one that isnt present, you cant defend yourself.

just ask yourself a few questions... who had on new rubber? what ballast were they running? what dampers? - the list is endless.

but I did hear that Fab did see the barriers from a rather close perspective.

Crash.net stated an error for the other day and Turkington was 3rd quickest in the end, with another time under the 49 second barrier. Thats 3 of them now.

the times are all a PR exercise - as long as they actually did do some testing and some good out of it
