I heard on twitter he used the DS3 as a benchmark on Corsica tests as well.

That Hyundai i20 Coupe looks blisteringly quick, especially in Neuville's hands, but as you guys said, testing footage can be very deceiving.

Makes sense, the DS3 was always good on tarmac so if they can get the same balance from the C3, but with the power and aero advantages it has should be good.
Its probably just me but the DS3 sounded like the C3 engine wise, didn't seem to have that funny pop pop pop the DS3 did off throttle. The thought did cross my mind that they had perhaps put a C3 engine in it. I doubt it tho, I was probably just 1 too many glasses of wine in!

It's not just you, when I heard the DS3 coming from far away I also thought it was the C3 and then I saw it was the DS3.
