Well Hyundai is much louder, turn off the sound and watch it without it.. and they look very similar. Hyundai with a little bit of oversteer at corner exit of medium and fast corners, but in slower corners it turns in easier.

Also note that Hyundai is this July, VW is almost a year old vid. So imo VW would have dominated this year as well had they stayed.

For the VW vs Hyundai video: remember that the conditions might be different and also the team may be testing a certain part/setting which makes the car not perform at its top capacity, and that run just happens to be the one that the cameraman has captured. But still cool to put the footage back to back.

I found only one, the one at 0:56, judging by the distance from the apex and the oversteer at the end I wouldn't dare to say that Hyundai is fastest trough, more like too wide.

But yeah judging cars by that is problematic. Remember how "wild" Hyundai looked on the comparison video with Polo from Finland.... now we know why... cause it has serious issues with grip at those roads. Toyota mostly looks extremely boring in fast turns in comparison.
