    Sorry but have You ever attend some test or have You seen some testing videos? Except first taxi and warming runs the driving in tests is always looking faster than in rallies. Always! It's because when You drive the same road 50x You are naturally taking it muuuuch faster than when You drive it first time.

    I thought my post made it pretty clear that the situation I described was purely hypothetical. The point I was trying to make was that Sordo's lack of speed could have more to do with Hyundai's test programme than any systemic issue with the car.

    to me the car is looking better and better. i guess the testing, driver inputs and adjustments are really starting to show now
