Mikko's own quote: "There're small changes all over the car and for this moment the whole package seems to be very good. But we'll see only after the rally if the car is quicker than the old one".

Correct me finns if I'm wrong, took it from YLE' interview.

So, if there're any big difference, we'll see only in Finland. But Malcolm Wilson told Seb must be frightened with the new Focus.

Well... I'm not a finn, just pretending to be... but let me try.

So, first of all, they say that the team's test-driver Lasse Lampi had been testing the car for 2 days when Hanninen came to continue his work. Hanninen's opinion is that car has a good grip (keeps the road) on finnish gravel roads. Plus, he says that rain disturbed their testing sometimes, but the behavior of the car was good and reliable. They also made some changse in supsension' set-up, cause it has changed a bit since last year.

Then... Hanninen aims to get to the top-8 in this rally. He notes, that as he opened his points account on Rally Sardinia, he'll be aiming for points in Finland too. Also he supposes that the changed route of the rally is good for him, cause he doesn't have much previous experiense on jyvaskyla's legendaru stages, such as Ouninpohja. he'll try to drive the second (and also the longest) day of the rally carefully following the pacenotes.

I guess Loeb's answer to Malcolm was "You kidding me, right? BTW, what kind of engeneers do you need in order to secure spare wheel, we may be able to help "

WRC07: Another front 'wing', a lot (power) inside the car. And hope faster then the 06.

I don't understand Mikko's quote. Offcourse they tested the 07 and 06 together. Ford do exact know what the difference is between the two cars.
Whay we know after Finland is: is the Focus fast enough to beat C4?

    1. Plus new rear 'wing', new front bumper, new back-view mirrors and new alloys (hopefully by the end of the season) - black and lightened.

    2. yes. compared to the C4 I suppose.
