Forum Fantasy Motorcycling League 2007 - Final Standings up
Well, just a quick opener to say that the League will be back running this year and hope that as many as possible of you are up for playing
For those that were in it last year, everything's basically gonna be the same, I thought the format was a success.
For those that weren't - well it's a price-based thing, you pick seven riders to a budget - with at least one from each of MotoGP, 250s, 125s, World Superbikes and World Supersport, but the final make-up of your team is up to you. There are couple of transfer points to make some changes so things can alter quite a bit as we go through the year.
The thread from last year is here:
http://archive.motorsportforums.com/...hreadid=117701
And you can also click the link in my sig for the rules and regs.
Last year's standings looked like this:

...to give you all a quick reminder!
I'll post some more stuff as soon as the prices for this year are done - the WSB season starts on Feb 22nd so things will be rolling in the next few weeks. I'm currently working on the MotoGP, 250 and 125 prices but am waiting on the WSB/WSS full entry lists for a bit longer before posting any prices.
Anyway, get thinking about your teams and hope you fancy playing! Any questions, give me a shout."Of course, what many people tend to forget is that Glen Richards was 2nd in the 1993 Australian 125cc championship" - Jack Burnicle on BSB at Snetterton, June 2008

The WSB and WSS entry lists are up (here: http://www.fim.ch/sec/documents/f_4138.pdf ), I'll have the prices done probably at the weekend along with the calendar and rules so get thinking!

Rules
Rules
Season start and deadlines
World SBK begins on Sat Feb 24th at Losail. Complete teams (I.e inc your MotoGP riders) should be submitted by Feb 21st to score points for that round.
If submitted later they will still score but only from that point onwards and not for the missed rounds.
MotoGP begins on Saturday March 10th, also at Losail.
Teams
Pick 7 riders with at least one from each category (125, 250, MotoGP, World SBK and World Supersport).
You are free to distribute the spare two riders as you wish between those categories.
For instance, you could have three WSB riders and one each from the other categories. Or two MotoGP and 250, and one from each of the others.
The total value of your team (sum of the prices) must not exceed $10M
Prices are fixed from the start of the season and will remain constant throughout. Extra riders may be introduced as the season progresses.
Points
Points are scored exactly as in the real championships for riders - see motogp.com, worldsbk.com or crash.net to check up on them if in doubt.
Transfers
There are two transfer periods for you to change as many of your riders as you wish as long as the overall team value remains within budget.
The transfer periods are for both MotoGP and World SBK/WSS.
You may go back to riders you have picked before but dumped if you want.
Transfer period 1 is between May 20th(Le Mans MotoGP) and May 24th (Thursday before Catalunya MotoGP).
You may nominate transfers before then - as it's only a few days long - but they will take effect on May 25th for all classes and not before.
Transfer period 2 is between July 22nd (Laguna Seca MotoGP) and August 2th (Thursday before Brands Hatch WSB).
You may nominate transfers before then but they will take effect on August 3rd for all classes and not before.
Transfers can be done by PM or on the forum page. If done by PM to me ('patnicholls'), they will be acknowledged with a return PM.
This is for your reference.
There'll be a reminder about transfers nearer the time.
Rider Replacements rules
You score points for your chosen rider but NOT any replacements if that rider is replaced (injury, poor form, etc).
If your rider moves to a different team he continues to score points for you. If he moves class he will not.
Updates and rule changes
Updates will be done by the Tuesday following a racing weekend if possible and available on the forum.
If there are any problems get in touch and I can rectify them. All the scores are done on a spreadsheet so it's easy to check.
If any rules are unclear we'll discuss them on the forum.
