Surely its cost a lot of €'s to develop this car by Grifone, so I wonder if there is any input from Toyota unnoficially to see how it does before they make a decision whether to return or not to the WRC

Toyota's support isn't going to be with Grifone.

Link Grifone homepage (that are in bad need of a makeover...) http://www.grifone.it/

Not much Toyota to find on that one. From a distance it looks like they ditched the Corolla in favour of the Punto.

The sensible approach would be like Rene Georges Rally Sport is doing it, getting cars from RSA, and be sort of the european arm, like RED planned to do.
But if anyone are thinking of doing anything with Toyota, they need to focus on the Auris. No car-importers would support a model they no longer sells.

If a team has serious interest would contact the RSA Castrol Toyota team, or TRD in Australia and get start checking for a deal !

I hope they are just waiting for the Auris to come out!

Sulland, the Auris in Australia have a special homolation, they can run international events in their region and don't have to make as many kits.

I don't think the Auris in Australia has anything to do with the one in SA,but I'm not sure.

the Fabia could eat that toyota anytime, just look at acceleration and torque after tight corners, no chance for the corolla
