Clio vs C2
Anyone that know which of the two french S1600 cars that are the best one, and what the differences are ?

Don't forget that the Clio is an older car than the C2.

Yes, it is older, but it was still developed during it's life. Both cars are reported to have very strong engine (C2 with much more torque than Swift for example). C2 is the smallest and widest car which is great for tarmac in my opinion. In my oppinion C2 is clearly better on tarmac but I'm not sure about gravel. Clio is without doubts very reliable.
By the way, Martin Prokop reported that he had two crankshaft sensor failures and no power steering with a small fire during the rally so far. Of course plus that roll on the first stage (and broken windows after that).Stupid is as stupid does. Forrest Gump

I am just guessing here, but I have read that the new phase (Mk) 3 Clio will never come in a S1600 config, but in a R3 Turbo version.
Anyone with more info on this one ?
