But it depends on funding and the team he can get a drive with and that will likely be easier in the BRC.

Ingram coming straight from an R2, it would be quite a baptism to go into an R5 in the ERC. I think funding would also be a problem for him there.

BRC is the logical choice to learn a new R5 car.

Ingram was said to be 'intrigued by the i20 R5', so a works entry entry for them might happen in the BRC.

There is also a possible DMack seat if Evans moves on...

There is no guarantee of any of those guys competing in 2017 though... Kajto may think two titles leaves nothing to prove and Luky and Sirmacis struggle with funding.

The BRC has often had more R5...

Skoda didnt have anything to prove here after winning the Championship many times over ... and Peugeot didnt do themselves many favours with their 208T16 in the ERC anyway...
