Wasn't it mandatory to fit the evo parts in S2000? I remember problems for Vanneste when he wanted to start in Ypres without the evo bumpers.

He did, but had transmission problem on the road section tot the first stage. It was probably damaged while trying to get out of the ditch.

Guillaume Dilley won the first rally with a I20 R5. He won a local rally in Belgium this weekend in preparation for the Condroz Rally, last rally of the Belgian Championship.

Engine mapping and gearing seems to me one of the last steps of the development, but I can be wrong. For the reliability, you are absolutly right, didn't thought of that :)

As they are doing tests on both gravel and tarmac, I guess there will be a new suspension already as well. Otherwise, I don't see the use of testing on both surfaces, if the engine/drivetrain is good...
