Mikkelsen will drop to Lappi yes, but still Hyundai will get most manu points while being the clearly slowest car. EDIT: Actually Ford still gets more points (25+10 =35 vs 15+12=27)

Yeah the SS7 onboard explains it. From the SS10 one I though he read it correctly when they were in the corner but the next one is also 3L. "Just" wrong note then.

Yeah he repeated the previous note once, before saying the correct one but then they were already in the breaking. Sometimes he does repeat the previous note one more time also on other occasions....

Well even though it looked unlikely there are some tactical possibilities for tomorrow.

Loeb, Meeke (even if he rejoins in 8th) and maybe even Mikkelsen could all drive the long stage slowly to...

From the heli you could clearly see how he was doing scandinavian-flick style turn in while doing mid-speed corners on tarmac... while Toytoa and Ford drive on rails.

Quite a disaster for Citroen on what beforehand looked like possible 1-2 rally.

He is a huge surprise yes. Especially since he has not had a good rally since Finland last year.

Well yesterday he was clearly 2nd, today he might even drop to 4th.

Looks like Neuville got back to speed from the first slow splits a bit. Impressed by Lappi today, 1-2 fast stages can always happen (like Bouffier yesterday) but he is consistently fast. He needs it...

on 2nd it's Hyundai on last 3 places. Today they do seem to have real issues.

On the first split after 8km Latvala is 8s faster than in the morning! wtf?

Really wasn't expecting Toyotas to be so fast on this type of stage. Seems like they improved a lot on bumpy tarmac.

Most of corsica is not smooth tarmac. This stage is.

Last year all Hyundais also struggled a lot on the Power Stage which was smooth and mostly wide.

They seem to work poor on smooth tarmac. (Only Sordo was near podium speed in Spain and here in Corsica both Sordo and Mikkelsen are far back and Neuville has no chance on Ogier and seemingly also...

Just like in Spain last year.

Being like Catalunya it should also suit C3.

Or you can turn it around and say that he lost so much on first stage already that he tried too hard to keep up and went out already in second stage ;)
