R4 should imo be doing ERC2.

Just to separate them from the start.

Then you will get logic, with ERC topclass R5, being one below WRC.

In 2019 WRC, R4 should be the next WRC3 level, and R2...

Well lets see if drivers that has been regulars in WRC2 in the latter years will swap to ERC in 18.

For Brynildsen it has also been speculation on the WRC17 Fiesta of Adapta that now is for sale....

ERC is also one of the options Østberg looks at for 2018.
