Have to agree. It's something that affects motorsport, in particular. And the usual solution is some form of handicapping, BoP, ballast, running order, etc Which is a bad road to go down.

Agree, quite ironic playing up the 50 years of the sport at the venue were it was born; the only reason they're going to Silverstone is £$£$£$. It's a dreadful viewing circuit - what it will offer...

I suspect Brands were either not interested, or didn't want to pay what IMG wanted....but Brands would be a great venue for RX. Silverstone is flat, and a poor watching circuit.

When it was first rumoured, it was obvious what would happen. The 'old school' RX circuits were out, and the 'shiny new' F1 tracks would be the venues of choice for IMG. Sod the old fans of the sport...

I think the problem is its not really a 'World' sport - yet they've been given a World Championship. In all honesty its basically a North European/ Scandinavian sport. Maybe they should accept that,...

You might be right - a bit similar to the WTCC; were you have to bump & bash to succeed - and it's just not the way he races.

Hmm, he who offers the most money gets a round. Replacing Estering with Hockenheim would be sad; but oh so predictable. IMG are only intetested in making money..... That's why the traditional rounds...

Simple - some people think that the WRC is the only series worth watching.....and anything else is rubbish.....

A World Cup isn't a World Championship - there is a difference. Taking nothing away from Carlos & Ari.
