That's great. I've been using it since..... hmm let's say since 2000. It offers much more than windows in some respects, it depends what You need I guess and how much are familiar with these...

I see, well GIMP is doing fine job for me when I need some picture edit and no need of photoshop I guess.

Ah, well Linux is operating system for personal computers. It runs on various hardware platforms. Simplified version of UNIX, if You know what is it of course.
