I've been to Spa and the facilities were ok, but the traffic was a nightmare, and that was using the shuttle bus service from Verviers!

Nearly didn't make it in time for the start of the race....

I've seen badly corroded circuit boards after a building fire - especially any equipment that was fan-cooled and running at the time of the fire. Also you get lots of steam when the fire brigade...

The car in this picture has not been damaged by fire, even the hydraulic reservoirs are intact.

Seems a lot more mechanically complicated than a conventional throttle, so potentially less reliable.

I think you just described a Diesel engine there, a spark ignition engine still requires a throttle (whether fly-by-wire or manually operated).

That technology doesn't really save much fuel though because you're still moving all that extra weight around, and compressing air in the unused cylinders.

Bought my 2007 Spa tickets from the venue, via their website. I wouldn't trust any agencies, unless I could be sure they were officially linked to the event.
