Arent some teams based in Indy area, making the race a kind a home race ? I think its a no brainer, put in ALMS, or Grand Am and AMA superbike, make and event out of it...

I was there, nice weather, great racing, a great win for Tommo ! Magnussen got a stop and go, for a jump start, and elected to quit the race !

Le Mans has no relevance, sporting wise, there's no points to be won, its not part of any championships, so manufactors spending money on it is not a relevance ! And a race where teams make a pistop...
