With our rules being opened up here in NZ this year I would expect Westy & Mason to be on Lappi's pace if not ahead and Paddon further ahead. Few guys running R4 (some not true R4 but similar spec's)...

In rallying you make a lot of your own luck - punctures etc can quite often be due to overdriving/going off and similar.
Latvala crashes due to lapses in concentration, so quite different to McRae....

Hopefully they will also make organisers use a proper stage for shakedown similar to what rally will be run on, not part of a super special that has no similarities to what rally will be run on!!

Here in NZ the GSR's were 1800cc and the RS was the 2000cc 'rally' version as stated above.

Dno't forget that the Targa event Hayden did does not allow notes Bruce, so was no use at all really to him.
