I've had a think but still not sure why there is a flap on the wheelarch and its open (other than aero measurement.. but cant see a pitot tube..) :/ any second opionions? Pic attached is cropped...

Was driving hard to see how good/bad the wear rate is and try guage their longevity while driving like that :)
