a completely standard UK type R engine pushes 200bhp and a Japenese spec type R engine pushes 220bhp so an extra 80bhp with £20-30k spend on it doesnt seem too unrealistic, although the touring cars...

the integras and possibly the new civic( dependening on what the s2000 engine type r engine is like) were up to 300bhp! so kerry will unfortunately be a little of the pace!

a lot of the sponsers on the cars are the drivers own companies or their friends companys, hence some random companys sponsering teams.

I think a driver with enough money would be taken on by anyteam. They are busnisess after all! Remember the Turkish gentleman vauxhall ran this year Erkuiz

As tire warmers are not allowed corner swapping is the best that any team can do in the btcc to get heat into the non drive tires. All the drivers do is one lap (parade lap in a race) with the tires...

Synchro had to use their own holidays from work to set up on a friday and never got paid to work on the touring car.

where as Xero were the pinicle of Automotive Engineering in 2006 and dominated the btcc :rolleyes:

James Kaye does not have Have a big Wallet from what I can gather it is his very poor financial situation which has resulted in Synchro departing from touring cars
