Kids were told to take care of themselves and had a fabulous fight as a result. I'm taking the book by storm. I'm not translating it, just editing. The book is on history and I'm a historian, while the translator is a generalist. The hangover is gone. Hopefully everything is going to be alright.
BTW, is it true that English people have a folk belief that the queen has a phone number, which she can dial and any problem will be fixed?
How many pages has the book? If it looks like a brick I worry for you.
PS Isn't St Demetrius your son's patron? If yes, Happy anniversary! Forget the book and have a nice decent glass of wine.
( just kidding, I know you follow the other calendar and the saint is on November)
It's not really thick but it's full of petty details I need to pay attention to. E.g. there is a lot of names of Lithuanian towns and villages there. The modern spelling is very different from the one used back in 16th century and is even more different from the current Belarusian spelling. On top of that, Lithuania had four or five administrative reforms over the last century and it's difficult to figure out where a certain place is now. It's like Cluj and Kolozsvar with all the nuances.
Thanks for the congrats. :) We'll be celebrating in on Nov 8, indeed.
And then you complain when I say I'm a loser....:s
Schmenke clinched the prize!
