of course it valuable but you give it to a customer that drives your car,and if he delivers good results then its good for the firm and for the motorsport departement.
That's not so simple.
Almost no factory is giving their setups. Lot of their "customer setups" are not useable... But support in all from Citroen Racing/Peugeot Sport is one of the worst in actual rally scene...

According to Rallye-Sport.fr, Peugeot Sport is currently having a development test in Vosges with an Evo 208, drivers are Suárez and Gilbert.
