I havent said that you have said it. :)
Now it's official - Vojtěch Štajf with Polo R5 in Prague Rallysprint and in 2019. In Prague with BRR car, later with one of his own team.
Another good news is that Peugeot 208 R2 cup continues. It will add also a free start on Rallye du Var for the winner of the cup.
Entry list for Prague is out: https://www.ewrc-results.com/entries...lysprint-2018/
4 WRC, 21 R5, 2 S2000 etc.
Except from what I already wrote some more unusual combinations (often suggest plans for next year)
Béreš jun. (SVK) with Fiesta R5 (ex-Odložilík)
Odložilík with Fabia R5
Kopáček with Fabia R5 (ex-Štajf)
Bisaha with i20 R5
Gavlák (SVK) with Fabia R5
Sýkora with Fiesta R5
Zabloudil with Fiesta R5 (usually Impreza STi or Impreza 555)
Kašpar with Fabia R5 (usually Octavia Kit Car)
The timetable is nearly same as last year. First two stages are short natural narrow hill-climb tracks located south of the city, then they move to the very fast and wide city circuit around Strahov stadium where they'll do 4 circuit stages bringing hours of action. Despite it's being a show the rule is that those who can fight for the win until the first spin. After that they claim they drive just for fun of spectators :p That's why we can expect Lukyanuk and Pech actually fighting each other. Also others like Koči, Melichárek or Gryzb can try.
Lukyanuk is going to start in Rufa Sport colors with H-Racing boss as a co-driver.

Roman Odlozilik (Skoda Fabia R5) leads after stage 3. The new Polo is third overal at the moment. Lukyanuk and Grzyb (who are driving in one team) in disappointing 11th and 13th positions.

Saw a bit of action but returned early as I have other things to do.
The Polo is awesome. Works great, looks great. I'm really impressed.
Lukyanuk when I saw hiw was driving slow and totally unspectacular. The least spectacular driver of the whole 4WD field. I don't know why but it felt like if he was just bored. Maybe it's due to the tyres he uses (Hankook). Some others were driving purely just for show (Kopáček, Sýkora for example).
Otherwise standard organization chaos for this event starting with competely unrealistic time schedule (every year it's the same!). The stages have been mostly wet with some salty snow slush.
Meanwhile Pech crashed into some parked local cars. I haven't seen any video of the crash yet.
