I seem to have a mistake there, I'll correct that.Quote:

I now hear from a very reliable source that it's indeed Jorge Saillen, and that Morosano is correct. :D
And it's #77 Alberto Martini / Gerardo Vitola (Jorge found in a magazine they retired on the last leg).

Dear Friends,
This is a copy of a post I made in the general forum, but being about history I’m posting it here too, because I hope You can help me.
I come to You, again, in the sequence of the extraordinary results obtained with the Corolla Levin (see http://rallybase.motorsportforum.com....php?t=113267), to ask for Your help.
As You know I am a modeller in 1/43 scale on the theme Portugal Rally (From TAP Rally 1967 to 2001 and WRC 2007).
I’m starting a series of Ford Escort RS 1600 and RS 2000, having taken part in the above events from the sixties and seventies, and I would profoundly appreciate if You could provide me with Images and information of Your historical databases to support the construction of my models.
As I have seen with the Corolla Levin, no one has better information than You about historical Rallying and Your help will be priceless.
From the Rally Base records I collected these examples but I know there is more:
1973 – TAP Rally of Portugal
Nº 23 Francisco Santos / João Anjos – RS 1600 Gr.2
Nº 30 Tony Fowkes / Peter O’Gorman – RS 1600 Gr.2
Nº 32 Douglas Harris / John Jeson – RS 1600 Gr.2
Nº 83 Andy Michailidis / N. Anstis – RS 1600 Gr.2
1974 – TAP Rally of Portugal
Nº 12 Chris Sclater / Neil Wilson – RS 1600 Gr.2 9th overall
Nº 34 Chris Waten / Tim Bosence – RS 1600 Gr.2 14th overall
1975 – Rally of Portugal Oporto Wine
Nº 42 Fernando Lezama / Javier Arnaiz RS 1600 Gr.2 9th overall
1976 - Rally of Portugal Oporto Wine
Nº 10 Keith Billows / Martin Holmes RS 2000 Gr.2
Nº 21 Giovanni Salvi / Pedro de Almeida RS 2000 Gr.1 7th overall
1977 - Rally of Portugal Oporto Wine
Nº 30 Giovanni Salvi / Pedro de Almeida RS 2000 Gr.1 8th overall
I have few photos from some of these cars but I’m counting on You to complete the necessary, from these and others from the period starting at 1967.
As You know the models are strictly for my private amateur collection, and, as I’ve did with the Levin, I will share with You, on the forum, photos of the finished models whenever each is completed.
Thank You very much in advance.
Best Regards.

Doug Harris can be found here:

It is Chris Wathen (not Waten). I think both Wathen and Norman Anstis were in blue and orange "Vospers of Plymouth" cars.
It is also John Jenson.
There were several Escort Twin Cams started from London (Heathrow airport hotel) in 1969 - Toney Cox? Jack Tordoff?
Could that be this John Jensen: http://www.rallybase.nl/index.php?ty...driverid=10371 ?Quote:
