I doubt Mark Martin feels the need for revenge. He's a racer who wants to win all the races he's entered in.
The history of wins at this race is: 6 Ford (4 Roush) 4 Chevy (all Hendrick). Mark's in a Hendrick supported car and should run well. The track is wide & smooth so passing isn't a problem. With few cautions to group things up, usually a car or two hits the right setup and drives away from everyone.
The driver to watch is Kasey Kahne. He won this race in the fall and he'll be strong again this year at these tracks.
Gordon looks strong after the first practice, i look for him to be someone to beat on sunday.
All the Hendrick cars were fast including the supported Ginn ones with Joe N fastest.Quote:

For the guys that need to qualify to get in, 182 should do it, 180 or less probably won't.
40 of the 51 cars have taken times, Jeff Gordon still the fastest & Kenny Wallace the slowest.
Looks like Kenny Wallace will be going home AGAIN.
Gordon Pole!
