I don't know about buying rally pass at the HQ, but it is very easy to buy from the most of Neste gas stations in Finland. You can't miss those. In Jyväskylä, the official ticket sale office is at Hotel Aleksandria which is nearby service park, on the city side of the railway, opens two weeks before the event.
Ok. Thanks.
So, accomodation, plane tickets and car booked...spectating spots for friday, saturday and sunday already choosed....the biggest question in this moment - Shakedown...Anybody plan to prepare some onboard footage???Got no idea about this completely new section.
Organisation will provide onboard footage, like always.
But there is still about 20cm snow in Jyväskylä, it will take more than month before gravel roads are dry, recce video from muddy road is useless for spectators...
Last year the onboard videos were released alongside RG2, at the end of June. They won't know the exact start and finish locations before that.
Also, the Finnish rally radio makes their own stage presentation videos, not usually of every stage, but at least some of them are released earlier, in late May or something. But I don't remember them doing the shakedown in the previous years. However, it hasn't usually been a new stage so maybe they are doing that now.
I just decided to go and visit Rally Finland this year with some friends. For me it´s the second time there, so most things are clear. Only one thing: We´re on a low budget mission, so the plan is to sleep inside the car. Has anyone of you done this before? And is able to tell me if there is a possibility to take a shower anywhere in the area? The options which came into my mind were: asking at a campsite, gym or at the harbour in Jyväskylä. Or are there showers at motorway service areas like in Germany?
