It was electric glitch for Prokop.
A loooot of issues for bikers. Mainly navigation but some big crashes too. For example also Svitko (but he was able to continue).

I'm curious if something is going to happen after the rally with Sainz and Koolen.
I don't think Koolen is going to leave it at this, he seemed pretty determined..
Federico Villagra keeps going on course to win the truck category at his third participation in this class. Yesterday Nikolaev said he is "not slower than De Rooy", today he says "he is even faster than De Rooy" :D Vyazovich (going third) said that when he tried to follow him on some twisty road, Villagra was going at about 140kmh without lifting the throttle, he made an outright expression "man, he drives so bravely, so fast". Cars category is also interesting this year, I never believed that both Sainz and Attiyah will survive after the marathon day.
Kamaz accused Villagra of illegal refuelling. And they have some video of that:

Peterhansel seems to be out of contention for the podium after today's accident... :-/
Ten Brinke retired!
Note the nice result so far for Khalid Al Qassimi: 6th overall :)
In the trucks, nice result so far for Japanese Teruhito Sugawara(who runs Dakar with his father in another Hino since already long time): 6th too ;)
And among the bikes race, nice position for Laia Sanz: 12th :D
