Terrible news, let's hope that Luky and the other two guys will recover at least. Sad for the co-driver and his family.

wow... new levels of incompetency and stupidity achieved... how can you have a head on collision between two rally cars on a stage ?
the driver who did recce the stage backwards should be put in jail.
So true!
Terrible news!
For french speakers : http://www.lemagsportauto.com/rallye...ccident/23710/
It was a test, not a recce. It's normal to drive test tracks in both directions. The tragedy comes when coordination fails. Sadly it happened already second time in last year or so and several other cases ended well purelly because of luck.
Let's hope all the injured can recover.
Shocking news... what a terrible and unnecessary accident. :disturb:
Report on Twitter saying Lukyanuk in hospital with a broken leg and back pain.
Best wishes to Alexei and all involved.
Incredibly sad news, terrible that these things can happen.
Non-life threatening injuries for Alexey: https://www.fiaerc.com/erc-winner-lu...ured-in-crash/
Karlip @Karlip1 o
Arnautov visited Lukyanuk at the hospital. "Alexey is ok in general. Frustrated and worried about others. Doesn't remember the accident."
From Gran Canaria I want to give Lukyanuv a lot of encouragement.
Best wishes to Luky and all involved.

Nasser Al-Attiyah’s SEAJETS Acropolis Rally appearance won’t be his last in this year’s FIA European Rally Championship after the motorsport all-rounder revealed plans to tackle at least three more ERC events in 2017.
Ahead of the Greek gravel classic, Al-Attiyah confirmed he would also contest the ERC-counting Cyprus Rally, Rally Rzeszow and Barum Czech Rally Zlín in his Autotek Motorsport-run Ford Fiesta R5.
“This is really a nice series and to see all the top drivers and compete with them is feeling really good,” said the Qatari. “Our plan is to do Acropolis, Cyprus, Poland and Barum. We [do these four] races for us in ERC and we try to have a new experience on Tarmac.”

Is there any prognosis on when we may see Lukyanuk back in action? Can he be back for Rzewow or is his championship bid pretty much over?
