Great result for young Marius Aasen too - 3rd is his best ever finish I believe?
Yes, and he is a young gun coming along. First class win in 4 wd i think, and 3rd total is not bad.
"Old" Trond Sveinsvoll is also getting the "wheelrust" out of his system.
Registration plate of Brynildsen's Fabia??
Thank'you!
I think he was still using the same car as in Sweden, BA S 135, but have not seen the plate from the pictures I have seen from Finnskog.
That are correctQuote:

The silly season and build up for 2012 is underway in Norway:
Mads Østberg/ Adapta has bought a Fiesta RRC to use in Norway and German Asphalt series for 2012.
Young talented Marius Aasen has bought Mads´ old Fiesta S2000, and will use that for Norwegian series, and selected SWRC rounds in 2012. He has gotten a new Co-driver as well, Veronica Engan (Mads´ Girlfriend) will guide him in 2012.
So Anders Grøndal has to find new co-driver. Thanks for info :)

What do you mean selected SWRC rounds? Is he planning to do SWRC in 2012 or just some rallies with S2000 car?Quote:

Thnx. However, there is a good chance that he might be named by ASN for rally Sweden. Some of it is in the Norway ;-)Quote:

Good question, but we are getting a few R2s in 2012, 2x Fabia, 2x Fiesta and 1x Twingo.Quote:

Aasen and Engan will use DMACK tyres on the Fiesta

Good ol fight in Mountain Rally Norway between Mikkelsen and Østberg (and S2000 v RRC) Mikkel is in the lead, 5 sec in front of MadMads.
Isn't mads first on the road? is that a big disadvantage this morning?
That is depending who of them you ask ;)Quote:

Quite surprised that Bieltvedt is faster than Gröndal. Aasen out?
Yes, Bieltvedt has been fast, Grøndal not happy with his setup..
Aasen out, tecnical (water pump)
Mads had an 6'th gear spin in the long stage, Andreas now up to 18sec lead.
Looks like Andreas has won.
What restrictor was Ostberg running? His times were quite close.
Should be RRC spec 30mmQuote:

PG Andersson will drive Rally Finnskog in order to prepare for Rally Sweden. Also Pontus Tidemand will do the rally in a Fabia R2.

Prokop also on the list.
Now are also Mikko Hirvonen and Craig Breen on the list.
Top 5 Rally Elverum 2'nd round Norwegian championship
1 Mads Østberg Ford Fiesta RRC 72:03.8 0:00.0
2 Marius Aasen Ford Fiesta S2000 74:41.8 2:38.0
3 Eyvind Brynildsen Mitsubishi EVO 74:56.0 2:52.2
4 Sveinung Bieltvedt Subaru Impreza75:29.7 3:25.9
5 Anders Grøndal Subaru Impreza 76:06.5 4:02.7
Again, surprised with Grøndal´s result. Something wrong with the car, or bad day for him? I expected him to be faster.
Grøndals full spec N4 engine had some issues before the rally, so he had to put in a standard engine. Thats why he could not match the other N4's.
That is why HE says he is after.Quote:
