SBK Vallelunga
New circuit and potential title decider this weekend.
Local track for Max Biaggi though he never raced there before, and any track in Italy is a local track for Ducati.
Toseland needs a 50 points lead to win the championship, a double win will give him the championship no matter what.
Haga is in good form and he will try to gain more ground that would give him a chance at the final round.
Parkes looks to make it 3 wins in a row in supersport, he is 26 points behind Foret and could finish 2nd in the championship.

Troy Bayliss has taken pole position for tomorrow’s World Superbike races
Bayliss, with a time of 1:35.890, was the only rider to dip below the 1:36s. Troy Corser (1:36.016) was second fastest, with Ruben Xaus (1:36.737) third and Max Biaggi (1:36.925) rounding out the front row.
Haga (1:36.996) was fifth, Lanzi (1:37.428) sixth and Fabrizio (1:37.430) seventh. Championship leader Toseland will start from eighth place after he crashed during his Superpole lap.

Seems Tosser is doing all he can to lose the WSB championship.
C'mon Max!
-
It was a very silly/unlucky crash, am keeping my fingers crossed for Magny-Cours now.
Still 29 points over Max, and 33 over Nori - it should still be enough for JT unless there's a major disaster.
It's very quiet in here since the outage yesterday, but we are still open for business :)
---------------
And, the race wasn't on TV and I didn't manage to get hold of it online, but the Superstock 1000 Championship is very interesting heading into the final round.
Mateo Baiocco on a Yamaha leads by a single point from Nicola Canepa (on the Ducati 1098), with Alstare Suzuki's Xavier Simeon another seven back and Lorenzini by Leoni Yamaha's Claudio Corti one point behind him. Aussie hopeful Mark Aitchison is fifth, 25 points off the championship lead. Should be a great finale with everything at stake.

Yer the WSSTK 1000 championship is a good'un, thats for sure.. Have to say that Toseland isnt dealing with the pressure all that well, he should still win the title, thats for sure.. Anyway, its going to be interesting this w.e with Max and Nori right on his hammer..
-
Corser sure earned his paycheck in race two... piling on the pressure and he got an even better result for Nori than if he'd beaten Toseland to the line, lucky for JT that he likes Magny-Cours.
Great dicing early in each race - good old SBK fairing-bashing.
Woo hoo, final round of SBK this weekend and PI MotoGP the weekend after!!! Boy am I gonna be bored after that's all over...
-
My goodness.... is Max gonna sneak up and nick this title from under JT's nose????
