Renault RE16 livery

I was expecting more of a bumblebee type of affair considering they posted:
#TBT: Robert Kubica at the wheel of the yellow R30 aka #bumblebee. Just to get those livery chats started again ;-)
All black and yellow fits their corporate look though.

Another black car? Or this is just the test mule?

I quite like the livery, however with Mclaren being dark it could be hard to tell from a camera on long shots. The yellow & white or yellow and blue would be good.

Someone tidied up the paint cupboard at Enstone and they found the yellow paint again. Much better than the black testing livery:

I like it. Very Renault like.

'a return to one's roots', so to speak...
The years of experimentation with the 3.0L NA/ 1.5L Turbo/Supercharged engine formula, which ran from the late 60's to the mid-80's.
1977, and the introduction of the RS01 to the grid. The Renault/Gordini V6 turbo-powered sensation, commonly nicknamed "the yellow teapot" for it's propensity to 'boil-over' spectacularly near the end of most races during the early years.
Then '79, when it finally 'broke it's duck', and showed it can be a competitive way forward.
Here's to you, Renault. Make us 'old guys' proud and give us a lasting memory...

called it! Nice job Renault. We needed a yellow car....loved the Jordans a decade ago, nothing like those but still bright and classic
