Living here in the drought stricken state (with little noticeable effort to increase water storage) and observing the blind ambition of creating a High Speed Rail ("Racket" more like) system that was proposed as $6 billion just 7 or so years ago, before more accurate (and honest) costs were finally forecasted for the project to hit 100% of what the first estimates indicated... or were so promised to the public to further assist in passing proposition... so... I'm gonna say California is a part of another series of when politics go wrong.
