This is interesting as they are using Ilmor for ecu from what I remember. Time to find a different source if that's the case

Latvalas MDC chances are long gone even if he wins the power stage. It will be Ogier vs Nueville unless they both DNF and Latvala wins which is highly unlikely.
Also as for Germany, Lappi was pretty damn fast last year. Right behind Ostberg in many stages and overall. He's not going to beat Ogier, but he can finish in the top 5 in my opinion.
Thierry Neuville is sixth in the Finnish rally, the ninth event of the WRC world championship, currently dominated by the amazing Finnish Esapekka Lappi. The Belgian is 15 seconds behind Craig Breen (5th). A few minutes ago, it was learned that Sebastien Ogier would not resume the start this Sunday.
"I wish them a good recovery and that we are back in Germany, it confirms that they will not score a point this weekend, an additional reason for us to ensure this result and see if we can grab a few points In the Power Stage, "Neuville told Olivier Gaspard, a special correspondent for the RTBF in Finland.
The Belgian could take the lead of the world championship. He does not think too much: "We do not necessarily have to go ahead, getting closer is already good, it does not change anything to be in front or behind. To get back a few points ... When you have a fight against a four-time world champion, you do not win the championship on a race, you have to be smart and take what you have to take. "

So gutted, finally Latvala showcases his best season to date (perhaps besides 2014) and is being robed by a technical issue for a second time, & this time a home win....
I did some crappy mental math and, had the Yaris not failed in Poland or Finland (Poland was possibly his own mistake, but still), he'd have been second and first. With no power stage points in Poland and 5 in Finland his total points by the end of the weekend would have been 160, enough to tie with Ogier going into the final four rallies.
I should stop dwelling on the what ifs, though.
