Suninen has done nearly 40 rallies with 2017-2021 car(almostsame engine, better aero and suspension..).. basically only hybrid is added..
Yes, everything has been upgraded/improved, but still he is very experienced.
I would understand if Munster or some other youngster was talking about it..
Although he has managed thebig car very well.
Agree with Latvala's point tho, that couple of extra days wouldn't make it soo much more expensive.
You can only take Suninen's words at face value. He has no reason to say it's been hard for him to adapt if it hasn't.
Plus remember how Evans struggled to become comfortable in the Rally1 and he had vast experience of the previous generations of cars. He also had as much testing as he wanted on the teams Finnish gravel roads.
Anyone coming from Rally2 cars will find the change even greater. Although sometimes the young actually find adapting easier.
