Lukyanuk really dominating here, good to see him happy again.
But he crashes on the very first stage:

Lukyanuk far ahead but good fight between Llarena and Marczyk for 2nd place (and also 2nd position in the championship).
On ERC3-Junior, Franceschi in favorable position so far with the impressive performance from Fotia. Looks difficult for Pajari to reverse the situation, may have an impact on his choice for next year (between Rally2 and Rally3 car as he has to choose for WRC and the ERC3-Junior Winner wins some Rally3 drives). But quite happy if it is Franceschi he had some setbacks in clinching a budget.
Big battle between Llarena and Marczyk for 2nd position in the championship standings.
If no mistake, the most probable now is Llarena 2nd and Marczyk 3rd for the rally so all will be played by the daily standing and there is only a 0.2s gap between the two today so far (Marczyk ahead): so the one who beats the other in the last stage will clinch the 2nd place in the championship (except if Llarena by 0.1s)
Llarena did it in the end, a good fight between two talented young drivers.
Nice to see Luky win the final Eurosport era event of ERC, and so much happier than he was this time last year when he won the title but not the rally.
I’m a bit sad that Eurosport are exiting the rallying scene after they brought so much over the years, especially with IRC. I hope that ERC doesn’t lose it’s character and that the WRC promoter can improve the coverage moving forwards.
I hate this feeling that the new promoter will make the fees so much expansive for the privateers in 2022...
Now I can confirm, that official test was really around Tejeda, as I noted before. In Galdar it was completely different action - it was on Sunday and it was "farewell day" of Eurosport in ERC. It was quite top secret also for Eurosport members, thats why I was not able to write here more details before. There were two sections - one codriving skills with Alexey Lukyanuk and Laurent Pellier in Citroen C3 Rally2, in the other codriving and then driving skills in Renault Clio Rally5 together with JB Franceschi and Paulo Soria.
