evo X wins at first run
by Fumio Nutahara at Kuma Kogen Rally
Fumio Nutahara has given the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X its first victory, winning the weekend’s Japanese Rally Championship round. Nutahara claimed the national championship round, Kuma Kogen Rally, in a Lancer that isn’t yet fully developed and beat the likes of Subaru’s current model Impreza WRX.
"I found the suspension better than the Evo IX," reported Nutahara. "Asphalt in this test has many results, and [it] would have been quite complicated to guide the IX here.
"The car is much easier to drive, and the engine also responds better," continued Nutahara. "The only obstacle is that this car is 100 kg heavier

if you see the problems with N14 after 5 months of rallying yes it is

The N14 also won in their first outings, but then at PWRC (and even in national level, at least in Argentina) is still a litle out of the pace, for the moment.
