Re: 6 Hours of Silverstone
You will love it.
It will be no where near as busy, and full of hassle as F1. Roving grandstand, all free of charge, sit where you like. More than likely the pits lane, and paddock will be open before the race, for 45 mins or so.
Plenty of time, to walk around the track, whilest the race is on.
Don't expect all the trade stands of F1, there will be a few around the paddock area, a small fair. Burger vans dotted around the track.
As for the racing, lots of different sounding cars. The LMP 1's will blow your mind, how fast, and how quiet the diesels are. But how loud some of the other cars are.
It will be a good day, especially if its dry

Thanks Steve
Some good advice.
Really looking forward to it.
Re: 6 Hours of Silverstone
sounds like a cool way to spend the day. I would be very keen to see the LMP1 cars at full gallop, and if possible close up in the pits. Post a little write up of the day if you get the chance :facelick:
Re: 6 Hours of Silverstone
There's plenty of Ten Tenths forum members that will attend the race. Check around there, you will get more information and probably meet them as well.
Re: 6 Hours of Silverstone
I will probably take some pics at stuff, so I will post some.
Re: 6 Hours of Silverstone
Furious right now. I have just been told my broken foot means I cant do much for maybe as much as 4-6 months, meaning as I cant drive, I cant get to or get around Silverstone.
Looks like I will miss out after all.
