No idea if someone has mentioned before: Wilson actually asked Tanak to ease up, after Sunday’s first loop.
Q:
How hard were you pushing on the final day?
OT:
For sure I was doing my best. I couldn’t make any mistakes because of the points – I was close to the limit. In the morning, we never had the gap more than one second [between Ogier and Tanak], it was close. After the break I had a phone call from Malcolm [Wilson, team principal]. He was laughing for about 10 seconds, but then he said: “That’s enough now.” Then we have really good points. I knew Seb is kind of controlling this thing and I didn’t have any tools to beat him today. This is how it had to end.

Yes, this was written already on sunday in estonian media that Wilson used teamorders.
Well there we go. It was going to happen sooner or later for Ott since he is now battling at the top.
Yeah and this is how Tanak's wheel looked like from that...
but still it was on the car.. not trailing on the side like Hyundais, sure they could have been a few cms more to the side, or (more likely in view) their wheels were turned more out.
Anyway quite lucky he got no loss of air from that. Also remember one of his rims looked about the same after PowerStage in germany.
