Chester / Lancaster.
Just got back from Tasmania. Glad to see I did quite ok at Eastern Ck - a Rd win is always good!! I haven't had a chance to run the car Oulton Pk yet. I' ll have a go tomorrow.
Just over 24 hours until the deadline now - only recieved 4 sets of times including my own
Same story for FPA, have only six times including my own. :(
well, just did my races and was very impressed, this is one of my favorite tracks and the last turn is one of my favorite (sliding and kicking up some dirt) ran some sub 52 laps, (when the temps were right and I hit the turns great) but race consistent laps in the very low 52's. hope the results will come in my favor so I can get a podium finish
ran my races late tuesday night. due to also running the FPA series, I didn't have any funds for pre-season testing here. so in 15 minutes I had to learn the track, set the car up, and try to get into the 52's.. which is what I heard a respectable time was.
mission accomplished!
well, sort of. I qualified for race 3 in the high 52's but my race pace was low 53's. had fun and learned the track though, and got a better handle on the car.
maybe I won't finish last this time but even if I do it was worth it!
The Alfa went well at Oulton Pk. The car got good speed out of the corners which is the secret to this place. Very confident of a podium finish in all 3 races but not sure if I was quick enough to beat J.B on home turf!
I hope you were driving an Clio rather than an Alfa!!!
Alfa? :confused:Quote:
