See You on stages.
Just checked the other day. Looks like over 1000km each way for me :(
Yes, true. The time I drove to San Remo (obviously many years ago) was also a long 3 days.
Are you going to be one of those sporting an EST?
Not this time. Plan is to be somewhere in Far East Russia, when the rally is run.
Can anyone tell something about the new stages? Anything worth watching there?
I´m looking forward to my first Rally Poland visit!
As for new stages, well, organizer's policy is to keep everything secret, until championship regulations force him to reveal details.
IIRC stages maps are to be published no later then a month before rally. As soon as they'll be published, I'm going to drive through the stages, make a carcam movie during the process, publish them on YT and share links with forum users.
Here is our carcam from Wieliczki stage - this year's route is exatcly the same.

EDIT:
Stare Juchy carcam, stage is the same as in 2016

Hi,
It will be my first time in poland, anyone of you can share me a photo of the both sides of the rally pass last year? And tell me if it is the same size as a credit card??
Any other advice for a rookie in rallye polnd?
Thanks.
You want to know if the pass fits in your wallet? :D
Sick dogs keep poking a stick at this rally... when will it end? :D
Hey guys. I am from New Zealand and am coming to watch WRC Rally Poland 2017, I have never traveled to Europe before and it will also be my first time spectating at a round of the WRC. I will be travelling on foot so transport is a problem for me. Basically if anyone is attending the event and has room to include a tag along like me I would be much appreciative! Also any information about the event would be great like where is the best place to stay and where do you buy tickets? The website "www.topracingshop.com" does not appear to be working?
Thanks so much!
Organizer have changed this year's route a little:
http://www.rajdpolski.pl/pliki/zawod...d_ver._4.2.pdf
so, Wieliczki SS (onboard was given before) is not the same as last year any more.
But I've found Goldap SS onboard (still the same):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lf1mdDPzdNs
and Świętajno SS onboard (still the same, just a little shorter, famous and probably longest jump in the rally 3:48):

ToKu, looking forward to your videos, that would make a great help to choose spectating points. rally-maps.com have some maps already online, not sure how correct.
Do you think it would be possible to try and watch 3 stages on friday? Like ss3/5/9.
2 years ago organizers offered to obtain physical ticket in exchange for pay order in Mikolajki. This year only mailorder tickets?
Ok, poland is not so far away, but postal services sometimes gives a surprise.
ON rally-maps teh stages the route is well shown - Kruklanki they will have an end in Gawliki Wielkie
Friday special stages are virtually identical to last year - only Wieliczki will be like 2016 with a bit longer.
If you want to watch more special stages on Friday, think about Chmielwo and Stare Juchy - the special stages are titled next to each other - 40km
At Chmielewo I recommend jump at the beginning of special stages (about 1.5km from the start)
both jumps are about 500m apart

At Stare Juchy I recommend a place about 1km before Szczecinowo
All of the movie sites are 1km away

@ mad max Thanks
Can I ask something about the tickets? I want to visit shakedown sss and service park without any extra payment, what's the right ticket? Thanks
I do not know if the entrance to the service park will be paid this year.
When it comes to shakedown, it will be possible to purchase a one way ticket before the entrance
If you buy the cheapest fan package you will be able to enter all the special stages, the shakedown and the service park
http://www.rallymerchandise.eu/produ...ally-Pass.html
Alternatively, if you intend to use car parks prepared by the organizer, I recommend buying a parking sticker
http://www.rallymerchandise.eu/produ...g-Sticker.html
Thank you very much, what about the sss on mikolajki if I buy the silver pass will I have access?
Under each fan pack you have written what is included in its composition.
In the silver pass you have an additional Rally Program.
On Mikolajki SS I recommend buying a one-way ticket - you will then be able to choose the day you want to see this special stage, I recommend Friday - service park + SS Mikołajki

Thanks a lot, I would like to see sss Friday and Saturday that's why I'm asking.
I'll start questions again when the maps are on
No problem thanks for your time
At the bottom of the page, there are links to more detailed maps of each rally stages

Day 3 stages will be closed day before at 16:00? If i well understood..
Like 2014 was be last stages close day before..? (Baranowo SS24)
It's really bold decision from organizator.. Really interested or actually will succeed closed stages day before...
What news about new stages?
Maybe who already have watching plan, and can share ?? :)
on 2015, we drove at least one of saturday stages on late friday evening with no problems.
