Excellent entry!
First ERC start for Solberg with Skoda, I presume as a warm up for Ypres.
Very good entry list. I can see at least 4 drivers that should fight for victory in this rally.
Melegari is back in a Subaru. I guess Alpine was too difficult to drive?

It is more about character of the stages. And also weather can be important as everybody has still in their memory last year with lot of mud and water. And for these conditions, 4WD Subaru is much better, for sure. Zelindo likes the Alpine in Fafe and return to the car for Canarias is possible.

@RubnPerez
Despite being registered, Mads Ostberg and Nikolay Gryazin will NOT contest the #RallyHungary this week.
The Norwegian will not be there because this test was going to be taken as a test for @ypresrally
and the Russian for readjustments suffered by the area in which he lives due to # COVID19. #ERC

Mads Řstberg @MadsOstberg
In Hungary but not for the rally unfortunately. As the WRC calender changed our test plan changed as well. I'm here to support some of the other Citroën drivers and I hope they do well. Hope to be back behind the wheel soon.
Simone Tempestini tested positive for COVID-19 :( He did not left Romania and obviously won't start.

Interesting surface in Hungary. Seems to be a combo of tarmac, asphalt and oil-gravel, in addition to some loose gravel as it looks from the testroads.
Tyre choice will play its part, and maybe also tyre brand.

Luky's not too impressed though... :D

@Oliver Solberg
Today was recce day at Rally Hungary. Based on the mud on our recce car it's hard to believe it's a tarmac rally !
@CallumDevine27
Day 1 of recce nearly complete here at Rally Hungary. Going by the conditions today it looks like it’s going to be another crazy rally !
Yoann Bonato
To be honest, I have never seen such conditions on so many stages. Between the mud and the leaves, we haven't seen the color of the asphalt yet. Michelin do you have a solution for us ?!
A picture is worth a 1000 words. Have a look at the photos that Bonato posted on Facebook :)
