National 2wd champ, Gil Antunes, confirmed on a Dacia R4. Apparently it’s the R4 debut at the ERC.
The race is about to be canceled. The decision will be made tonight. At best it will be postponed to September.
Official website of the rally still doesn't say anything about it:
"Although this is a constantly evolving situation, as of 9 March there has been no order issued to postpone the 55th Azores Rallye."

More info in the morning...
The 55th Azores Rallye has been postponed to a later date due to the widespread coronavirus outbreak.
Wait for us, we won’t be long, in the meantime, stay strong 💙

Massive shame but better to be safe. Hopefully it will happen later in the year.
Great news, there’s already a new date (subject to FIA validation) for Rally Azores: 17-19 September (between Barum and Chyprus) https://www.fiaerc.com/erc-azores-ra...eptember-2020/
With so many events from major motorsport series being postponed, the FIA will hardly care about calendar clashes. Nothing can be worse to the sport than having events canceled.
Today is closing date for entries to Azores Virtual Rally. More info here - http://www.azoresrallye.com/noticias...ready-started/
New regulations
Registration for the race will start on the 20th of July and will close on the 2nd of September, in the middle of the 26th of August the rally guide will be published. The list of subscribers will be published on September 7.
In the week of the rally, on Tuesday we will have the team tests, which, like previous years, took place in Achada and Lomba da Maia. On Wednesday and Thursday morning will be the recognitions, on Thursday afternoon Shakedown and Qualifying Stage in Remedies.
Friday and Saturday dispute the rally with six specials on Friday and seven on Saturday, there are 13 specials that make a total of 201.94 km.

The health authority of the Azores will not allow spectators in the rally. It will be, apparently, a rally behind closed doors.
Let's wait for the next episodes.
