This is sooo exciting news :bounce:
Can't wait to see the car anddiscover the names of crew who will drive it
Brilliant!
Can't wait for the spy shots in testing.
Now to wait for official news from Nissan. At Silverstone a guy from Nissan told Hindy they were still evaluating a works effort.
Would love to see Lucas Ordóñez in a P1 car. Nissan would be stupid not to retain the guy and got to an arch rival!
Why not a return "at home" for McNish and Collard(the 1999 Toyota drivers) ??? :D
New Toyota unleashed!

Nose section/front splitter resembles the 908 but with aggressive diffuser
Cockpit resembles the Dome but more like the GT-One at the rear if you took the fin off.
Hopefully it makes an impact on its debut like the GT-One did.

Side profile looks hideous. The rules allow a larger endplates and the paint job will need re-working IMO - more red and electric streaks please!
This is how the car sounds: #tvider: share ur status wid video, image or voice act on web & mobile! - Tvider

Pitlane/EV mode. Thought we'd get a glorified golf cart but I'm actually liking this. There's a Star Wars/X-Wing sound to it

"Gold Leader standing by..."

I like it, il be supporting them at Le Mans!
Yes i think there will be a lot of support, simply because it sounds awsome.
I love the idea behind deisel technolgy, but they sound so poor.
Thanks wedge and allyc85 for the video's, I'm looking forward to this years le mans, I hope Toyota do well, they deserve it for innovation.
What do you guy's think of the delta-wing? is it real? do you think it will actually make it to the track or is it just a joke project?
Regards scaliwag
From the side looks like a mini van. I hope its fast.
Hi FIATI, which car are you discribing as a mini van, the toyota or the delta-wing?
Regards scaliwag
Toyota last picture makes car look weird. Can't wait for delta wing on track. Hope they will race at Road America this August.
So you've seen the delta-wing.
I'm wondering if it will make it to le man's, I have the sneaking feeling that the delta will never make it to the track.
I hope it does, but if it makes it,it will be interesting to see how it goes, I'm more inclined to think the Toyota has a much better chance to impress.
Regards scaliwag.
Delta wing car was at Chicago auto show in RA corner and created very much interest from people and as I understend they will be on track in two weeks time in Sebring. Will be interesting.Love new ideas.
Delta wing had a first test on March 1 and was capable of turning left and right. This is going to be interesting.
Bad start for the TOYOTA !!! Forfait at Spa next month after a crash in tests this week(Lapierre crashed because of electronic problem)...no time for having the car ready in time for the belgian round of ILMC :s
An AUDI 1-2-3-4 to expect at Spa
PS: concerning the Delta Wing(I don't like its design at all)Nissan will be the official motorist...but I don't believe in the project at all, to me, an early retirement at Le Mans :mark:
But Toyota starts badly its Le Mans preparation too, though...
I wouldnt suspect a 1-4 finish for Audi, arent 2 of the cars the new hybrids? and plus. like sebring anything can happen, if Muscle Milk didnt have the fueling problem, Audi wouldn't have had a 1-2 finish
Do not confuse Sebring and LeMans, those Audi's are built specifically for the Le Mans 24 hours race/track, the rest is for them just a bonus.Quote:

Qualy will be interesting.
Daft. When a new car is rolled out and races for 12 hours its bound to encounter problems. 6 hrs is like a sprint race these days.Quote:

Well, there you go, the Toyota TS030 won it's first WEC race beating the 2 Audi's by a mile (almost 2)!
Way to go and keep it up!
The future for them looks extremely promising. Good to see. The more Manufacturers the better.
Coming into Sau Paulo the win wasn't all that surprising.Quote:

Apparently Toyota are on tight budget but I get the impression they are doing a Peugeot by ramping up the downforce as much as possible - not just by interpreting the rulebook and getting a lucky break!
I hope TOYOTA will beat AUDI again this coming week-end in Bahreïn
I wish Wurz and Lapierre all the best
Won at home at Fuji despite a splash and go. Awesome last stint from Kaz.
Audis again racing like they own the fast lane.
