2022 - Race 17 Singapore
Race 17 and now has just become the Max Show. He could wrap it all up in Singapore.
Question will be if Albon will race or not after having to be put on ventilator after his appendectomy.
Still some silly season to come ...now Hulkenburg is in the running for Haas?

Thru the two practice sessions - Ferrari holds the edge. RBR and Mercedes are close behind. Everybody else is far behind.

Heavy clouds are gathering over two garages in the paddock .
Much speculation about how heavy it will rain .
AM may only need inters but RB may need full wets .

One of the best qually sessions we've had in a while really. I love changing conditions in qually, because you just never know who will roll the dice and when. Freaking Yuki was at the top of the charts for a lap or so!
RB really dropped the ball with Max, but their pace it so strong it really shouldn't matter all that much. I really wouldn't be surprised at all seeing Max on the podium tomorrow. I think they just got greedy and lost track of the data, Max already had a pole lap in hand but they wanted to really put a stamp on it just in case and it went bad.
I really don't expect much challenge at all for the top 3, unless Sergio can put some pressure on Leclerc or Ferrari to screw it up at the front. Unless it's wet, I don't think Lewis will be able to challenge for the upper steps. If it's wet no telling which way it will go.

Maybe Red Bull really, really want Max to win the title in Japan instead. ;)

Anyone else remember a time when F1 was an all-weather sport?
-
Williams really need to fire Latifi like yesterday

Smh Mercedes are so annoying. Freaking pit hamilton immediately!!!! Makes zero sense to let him go another lap and lose any small advantage/ salvage he could have got. So annoying

Perez picks up 2 reprimands, 2 penalty points and 5 second penalty for not maintaining 10 car length to the safety car on restart.
It looks like he will get to keep the win.

Anyone know why, even with it being out outside, that the track didn't dry that fast?
