Come on Michael Booth and Craig Nayler, we're waiting for you!
Well I'll see if Boothy gets online tomorrow. If not I'll join up with Jon Brown to help him out.
Unfortunately I don't have information about that, but what do you think about the idea of making a 'motorsportforums' F1 season in batracer.
- if it is already taking place, then how long will it last and when may the next season start?
- if there is no such season, then what about playing one such among forum members and which season will we choose (1986, 2002, 2006)?
F1 carset are boring, we stick with BTCC. :D
Besides which, I retire enough from the BTCC races, and the 1986 carset is billed on the Batracer front page as having retirements aplenty.
Good choice nik, i'd be tearing what's left of my hair out else!!!! :p
cheers :up:Quote:

PS What is the most effective way of moving the sliders when you get an 'estimation updated' ? Is it by only moving one at a time or do certain aspects have no effect on others so you can change more than one. :s
Jon, when estimation is updated you just move it in the direction that it says. Usually by 8 because then you'll always have even numbers in between and you'll easily be able to find the spot on. For example:
The engineer's advice page says "medium brake bias" so you start at 50.
You get "estimation updated, decrease setting" so you take it to 42. From there you get "estimation updated, increase setting", so you take it up by 4 because that is half way between 50 and 42. Keep going like that until all the runs are spent and do all the sliders that have feedback on each run.
Hope that helps :)
Joining the 'fun' now. As I don't know whether Boothy will be around or not.
