Corny, it's one of the more picturesque locations in the country - beautiful green rolling hills, lots of creeks etc. (watercrossings for the rally cars :) ), fairly temperate climate. It's not far from Byron Bay which is the eastern-most point on the mainland and is a bit of a surfie/hippie haven. Kyogle is fairly alternative too, not sure what the old hippies there will think of racecars blasting through their idylic nirvana, but hey :D
I'll be there for a few days at least.
I'll be going to the Cyprus rally in a months time, it will be interesting to see how a mixed surface event will work out
